Bright room, huge with breakfast. Lots of delicious and good breakfast options. Absolutely perfect location of the hotel, adjacent to historic city centre, the metro lines, and train station. Again, 10 minutes walk from St Paul's Church.
Very unsafe area.

The hosts were so attentive, they practically lived with me! The location was fantastic, right in the heart of the action. And the breakfast? Just divine, I practically ate my weight in pastries!
Oh, those lovely shared bathrooms. The thrill of waiting in line for a shower, it was like a spa retreat.

The value for money at this guesthouse was great, with a large and well-equipped room. The location was convenient, close to the metro and within walking distance of the city center. The staff was responsive and the place was clean and quiet. We would definitely stay here again.
The breakfast menu could benefit from some additional variety.

My stay at Petaluda House 1 was absolutely wonderful! The owner, Iza, made me feel right at home even before I arrived. The two-bed room I stayed in was spacious and had everything I needed for my 4-night vacation, including a fridge which was a pleasant surprise. The common areas were clean and cozy, and the breakfast, especially the homemade marmalade, was delicious. The location was perfect, with the metro station just a short walk away and plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Iza even organized a day trip for me, ensuring I got to see more of the city. Excellent value for money - I won't stay anywhere else in Athens next time!
Strongly recommend this hotel.

We had a great time at this place during our holiday. The room was spacious, clean, and tidy, which was perfect for us to rest and relax after a long flight. The shared bathroom was also spacious and well-maintained. The location was convenient, with plenty of grocery shops nearby and easy access to public transportation. Additionally, the owner was friendly and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable.
There were a couple of negative aspects. there was no receptionist, so there was no one to ask for help or assistance.
